FAQs
The LAM is an initiative of the VandenBroek Foundation, which works to make art accessible to a wide audience. The LAM invites you to enjoy art and embark on a journey of discovery.
There are paintings, sculptures, photos, installations, videos and digital art to discover in fresh and thought-provoking ways. Each work is somehow related to food or consumption. You don’t need to know anything about art: it’s all about your personal experience as the viewer. The LAM is ideal for all curious people, from seven to 107.
Don’t expect to see text panels at the LAM. On arrival, we’ll invite you to connect to our Wi-Fi network. Then, via your smartphone, you’ll receive a personal tour that showcases five different works. We don’t overload you with information but inspire you to really look at the art. It’s all about having an open mind and enjoying the exhibits.

Can I buy a ticket in advance?
Of course. In fact, that’s the only way to purchase tickets. Places are limited and all tickets have a start time, so be sure to reserve your date and time in advance. Sponsored visits to the LAM are available.

I’ve purchased a ticket but now I won’t be able to use it. What should I do?
The best thing to do is to get in touch with our ticket partner, Ticketcounter: info@ticketcounter.nl. They will be happy to advise you.
Does the museum have a cloakroom or lockers?
A public cloakroom and lockers are available.
Are photographs allowed?
Photography is permitted as long as you do not use a flash, tripod or selfie stick. For press photos and professional filming and photography, please contact the Marketing & Communication department at fbudding@lamlisse.nl.
How long should we allow for our visit?
To get the most from your visit, we think you should allow around 45 – 120 minutes to take a good look at the works of art selected for you. You might like to combine your museum visit with a stroll on the estate or a walk through the Keukenhof Forest. We’d prefer you to head outside fresh and inspired after a short visit, rather than tired and beaten senseless with too many new impressions. And naturally, we hope that you’ll come back again to see the rest of the collection!
I've created an account to save my favourite artworks. Where can I login?
You may not have enough time to take in the videos and other information during your museum tour. Just mark them as ‘favourites’ and you can login to www.laminfo.nl later to experience the works again.
Can I visit with a group?
The LAM is perfect for experiencing together with family members or friends. However, larger group visits are not possible due to the museum’s limited capacity.
At the LAM, visitors are given the opportunity to look at art differently and in greater detail. For example, we offer an extensive digital tour and proactive staff are always available to help. Our staff can provide viewing tips or tell you more about the artworks, the building and the concept behind the LAM. Being part of an organised tour or a large group would therefore not provide extra depth to your visit or make the experience any more unique
