The LAM experience in a nutshell
• Cheerful, moving and awesome art that gives you an instant fresh look. Think of an artist who spent a year transforming food and drink into a porcelain installation. Or an artist who made a giant box of chocolates. It is not the glossy papers and the beautiful colors that make the XXL box exciting, but the little bites that have been taken from it. Sometimes you must take something away to make the end result mind blowing. It is precisely this that triggers your own creativity.
• Unexpected encounters with people you don’t know. Have you ever had a nice conversation with someone while you wait for the bus? Or a compliment about your shoes from someone you pass on the street? They make you feel happy. You can compare our View Coaches with that. In every room you will meet someone who likes to listen to you and who always has excellent viewing tips.
• Green, lots and lots of green. Because the LAM museum is located in the middle of the Estate of Keukenhof in Lisse, a visit to the museum always includes a healthy dose of vitamin D. Before or after your visit, you can take a lovely walk on the estate. For the little ones there is a special walk and a cosy petting zoo. At our neighbours Restaurant de Hofboerderij you can enjoy lunch or coffee under the old trees.
